50% more displacement should net you a lot of fun indeed.

Slowly... But it's ok. I've been waiting for my guy to finish a couple other projects he had going on so he can put his focus on my project. Not really much to report update-wise yet but I'll keep everyone posted. Thanks for checking in though!

Anyone else with the AMD clutch setup. Clutch is one of last things I need to buy

I started off with Clutchmasters FX850 twin, but that did not last more than a year with no launches. Now putting in Tilton Carbon/Carbon Triple plate. Not running an 01E but OA3 from a B7 RS4. With Twin GTX3071s and twin Tials, currently running 21psi will be switching to E85 soon. On 93 it did 450KW@wheels and spun the rears on the dyno...

Where did you source a flywheel for the Tilton?

My spec stage 3+ will be here tomorrow! Steveken's kit comes with a custom flywheel and the tilton starter.

I used the Steel Flywheel from the FX850 setup I was using and had it machined to match the Tilton Clutch

My Spec Stage 3+ did the job just fine. Needed about 1000 miles to break in, but after that, it worked great and held the power...

So how was that transmission to bolt up? I hear it's a much better unit than the 01E.

You should give Jason's stage 4 clutch a shot. I have 4K miles on it and its doing great, only a couple of launches just to test out the AWD burnout capability.

Yea Milka, who did the conversion on the 0A3? I've heard they are not necessarily stronger but they shift a little smoother and they are lighter with the Aluminum case?

Wow, close to wheel 600hp, must be fun! What kind of Dyno, and where's your location, maybe add to sig? Isn't the power balance 60 back / 40 front?

That's a nice setup you have there... Those turbos are good for what?... 800whp or so?
Regarding that trans you've got... Why did you decide to go with it over the more traditional 01E setup? Benefits of the setup over 01E?

Keep me informed on your new clutch setup.

Yea, he's from Oz. Interested in how the OA3 conversion is compared to the O1E. I've heard good & bad about both trannies. But Audi did replace the O1E with the OA3 in cars that had more power than the O1E cars. They did replace the housing with Aluminum which must put them a few pounds lighter, is that the only reason?
