All records from original owner - no trans issues.

    Purchased 02/12 at 62K, just turned 80K.

    Never a code so far......

I now hear the Audi gods laughing.

904421 - 125K currently. 100% OEM. Encountered an immediate 3K rev while cruising along nicely at 50mph followed by a clunk back into gear. Drove fine all the way home. Parked overnight and drove the next day. Car wouldn't immediately go in to gear until engine revved over 2500rpm and then clunk. Has been parked for the pasat 4 months while I site back and watch time pass.....

905034 - 231K currently. Entire service history in hand. Had transmission replaced at 106K ($4,730.00 tranny, $3,795 labour) I have no record indicating TQ was replaced, but it is illogical to believe the original '03 OEM unit wasn't replaced as part of the Tranny effort. Had both turbo's replaced under warranty at 39K, Interesting note that this car had its 75K service done prior to being 2 years old and 45K service done at 1 year old.... Has been thoroughly enjoyed and certainly not a garage queen. lol

You are ten digits from the end of USA production! I laugh alittle every time I see a 2003 RS6 with a build date of December 2003.

Our lovely EPA/DOT regulations that eliminated the fuel return line is the main reason for giving us so many 2003 RS6s and literally building "2003" models half way thru 2004 production.

What is the "last" US production number?

    Curious.

904933. Build date 07/2003. Never have had transmission issues. Torque converter was preventatively removed last November, sent to ACE for rebuild, and reinstalled. Engine was out for replacement of O2 sensor that was pranged when I took a rear end hit from a text messaging woman. So the majority of the labor of engine removal was paid by her insurance. Tozo was very helpful, didn't think transmission overhaul was required. Car now has 49,xxx miles.
2003 RS6, Mugello/Silver, MTM Stage 1 ECM, and TCM mod, Abt 19 inch wheels for summer, stock 18s for winter, RS6+ Pedals INSTALLED! 2Bennett coilover system, 2Bennett front brakes; DRC gone!
