Downshifiting blipping - can we do it?

i have recently drove the new RS4 and also C6 RS6, and both of them in the Sport mode do the blip when downshifting and it's soooo addictive , is there something that we can do on our cars to make this happen? does anyone one know how exactly this works, is it a software and hardware combination or is it pure hardware? what i am afraid of is that it is not only hardware and that the ECU/TCU soft has soothing to do with it...i am still researching....

Let's put out minds together and maybe we can work something out, what do you think...?

i have found this company selling a device that does the blipping control: http://pivotjp.com/product/blp/blp-e.html
    Ex.: 2004 Audi RS6 C5 ABT, Milltek non-resonated, 19" RS4 B7 rims, RNS-E - SOLD
    2004 AUdi RS6 C5, SE exhaust, RNS-E, 19' original rims - SOLD
Now :2009 Audi RS6 C6 - stock yet pretty fast

Even if you could figure out a way to do it electronically, trans is STILL way too slow to make a blip useful anyway..

    Best blip mod is O1E + heal/toe.
