As far as I know it doesn't exist a movie of sport auto driving it a full lap.

I guess that something was published on sport auto TV (VOX.DE?) but I've never seen it online.

Is the video 9:27 minutes long? I'm asking because i just got a 40mb vid of a grey M3 CSL with BBS rims doing a lap of the ring.

If it's the same one and it's compressed it's a great video! That CSL sounds awesome and the driving is very good. What's the name of the song from the start of the vid?

Also, this is a newbie question but i need to ask it... is the Nurburgring the same as Nordschleife or are they 2 different tracks?

The Nordschleife is the "Northern Loop" of the Nurburgring.

Nürburgring is basically 2 tracks, sometimes they are combined into 1 track for racing.
Gran Prix track and Nordschleife.

at first, sorry for my bad english.

i found a link to the M3-video from september 13th at the nurburgring.de-forum. while wachting the video, i saw two bikes chrashing at the fast left corner at section "metzgesfeld" (3:34 min). the first crashin' guy was me.

i don't no who has driven the M3, but is there any chance to get the crash or the complette lap in a highter quality?

Kai, I was in the car and saw the crash.
First of all I hope that you and your friend are ok after the crash.
I have the original tape on DV, but there is not a better version for a computer. It is not easy to see what happens, we're a bit too far away.

We were about to stop to help you, but since I saw that you stood up we continued. I hope it was the right choice.

2 bikes crash but fortunately they were ok.

Erik, Yes I saw what happened... thanks god nothing happened to the riders!.... now I have to wait other 5 days until I receive my new M3 Coupé SMG2 (fully loaded with 19'' wheels). I will try the car out on the Nordschleife soon. Ciao
