    Question Which transmission Fluid? Bottom shelf? Top shelf?

    I need brotherly advice. Here's a list from this site to give you guys an idea of available choices.

    Their probably all 3 good choices. I personally have been using the Redline D4 in my RS6 Since 2007, new transmission in 2011 but not because the other failed, just because I had the engine out. I also use it in my Cayenne Turbo S.

    This is the best fluid I've ever used http://www.schaefferoil.com/transmission-fluid.html
    All my Audis and my Cayenne turbo shifts great with it.

    Well I guess I'll be using that Fluid next. If It's good enough for Tozo it's good enough for me.........

    For the 01E, Redline MT90 or the MT85 if it is a little colder climate. I used to use the MT90 here in Washington state in my old S6 and it worked great. Here is an oil analysis for a high mileage 01E with stock oil, a real testimonial to OEM oil if true though.

    The 01E needs gear lube. I had 75w90 Mobil 1 in mine, but I am very impressed with schaeffer's stuff.
