    Next gen' Q7

It seems that I'm the only one interested in this, but does some one else think its strange there isn't ANY new info' about next Q7!?
It was september 2005 when Audi shown Q7 on Frankfurt IAA.
This lack of information looks like there want be a sucsesor, in wich, I don't want to believe!

I have a '08 Q7, and being little sceptical in the beggining, over the years it proven it self like great family car, bigger than ML, X5 and RR Sport, same size like GL and RR, but with much less "noise" and finger pointing when you drive by.

Any opinions about next gen', when it could be hapening and wich direction will Audi go for...?

quattroruote is Iso certified. weight is measured with all liquids full + full fuel-tank + 70kg driver + measurements instruments installed

    it's correct the badge tdv6 in italy.v8 tdi is called sdv8. 3.0 tdv6 it's also underpowered (249hp instead 258hp)because we have a luxury-tax over 250hp

How's that mag' explaining these three diferent weights of same car? It is very strange, don't you think...?

So, Italy is getting SDV6 with less power...?

current q7 is not as heavy as old range rover therefore one could have expected a bigger weight loss for the new range rover. the state of the art of car manufacturing at this point in time is where it is- as a result the new gen of suv's will all be around the same weight- note however that the rovers are overachievers in that they pack a bigger off road punch while weighing the same as less capable vehicles. i will probably replace the '10 sport we have now with the new one in 2014-15.

Some infos from the german press:
Presentation: Q4 2013 - maybe even at IAA in Sep.
    Availability Q1 2014
    Weight reduction -350 Kg
    Plugin Hybrid variant
No clues to the styling except the crosslane concept grill - which shows future Audi Q face

    Hope that helps
