    Question What's your diagnosis?

Gear up-shifts from 1st to 2nd (usually occurring between 2000-2500 RPM) from dead stop but ONLY when I "ease" into traffic. However, if I gun it, this does not occur. Also noticed that quick downshifts from 2nd to 1st, then back to 2nd (as when your making a turn) does not yield the "slipping/bogging" I previously mentioned. Beyond 2nd gear the car runs smoothly. No codes displayed. Car has ~ 92k. Tranny was just replenish with about a quart of oil. My mechanic did noticed some minor oil leakage by the turbo oil lines. What's your Dx?

RS6, funny shifts, around 100K mile mark- not a good combo.

    To tranny/tc:
Prepare to meet your end- and explain yo self at the gates of tranny h#ll.

I hope Max (with no real clue of anything) is wrong

...One does develop a slightly warped sense of humor after a few years of rs6 ownership.

I don't even own one yet and I already get it haha. I can tell I'll fit in here just fine.

My condolences to the OP in all seriousness.

    TRANSMISSION

    all tranny jokes aside?

is it likely that the transmission clutch is worn? ( cause this would likely affect my decision to buy an extended warranty)

Transmission clutch?? A clutch, B clutch C,D,F?? My A clutch is gone....is it the clutch or just the 39 cent O ring.....either way...trans has to come out. Eventually.....my A clutch is gone...I believe it to be the O ring cause it only does it when it is warm....but increased pressure makes it work......drove mine today....A clutch shot....still make it work.

Yea, one of your clutch packs is going, maybe a worn seal. Extended warranty purchase should pay for itself and then some right away.. I assume this doesn't happen when cold, only hot? Most likely it will get worse and worse. Then one day it will be undriveable.

Does anyone know of an extended warranty that'll cover transmission clutch? The ones I've looked into excludes this coverage--(understandably).
Or does anyone know of an extended warranty that will cover the labor of this repair minus the cost of actual part (ie. clutch)
