Just got back from California...
So I got the car. I bought this car never having driven it or even driven a RS6. Let's just say that I am overwhelmed with big smiles....my girlfriend too.
The car is in awesome condition. As it turns out....didn't know this...it has a full Milltek exhaust....cats and all. MTM front bar...I haven't check the rear. The BBS wheels are perfect. Diverter valves have been replaced...I don't know with what. But no chip. I assume he removed it.
Seeing how I was in the Bay area I checked with Sonnen Audi in San Rafael for a performance recommendation. They sent me to Griffin Motorworke. After two days of hanging around and talking with Terry I have decided to go in deep.
Terry usually builds his transmissions with Level 10 parts. I suggested he call 517. He did and within minutes I had decided to go ahead and go for it. Terry spoke with Sam and was impressed so far.
We have the usual list of upgrades to do. I am going with the Bilstein PSS9/10. Terry will chip it with the Revo stage 2. Stage 2 it seems is no more power but is needed with the full exhaust to stop engine codes. Control arms and some other stuff here and there. It will be a beast I am sure.
I am also having Cartronix in San Rafael do my stereo upgrades....but most importantly the Escort 9500ci. The remote laser jammin and whatever else it does detector. I didn't do my research on this one but I was sold by Marty at the shop.

Ask them not too over boost your Revo tune. You'll get a hot running engine that pulls timing and power. Ask your tuner about adding extra fuel with Bosch software. Sweet ride you've got for sure! Get Ross tech VAG cable to really see what your beast is up to.
