I've been running BBS RS-GT wheels in 19x8.5 et32mm but using 10mm spaces and 45mm longer Cone bolts. With the BBS's wheels, the flange is thicker and just adding 10mm to the stock bolt size (27mm I think) wasn't enough, I had to go longer.
Just got a good deal on Titanium bolts, Cone 45mm from ECS tuning for the RS6, and Ball 27mm from USP motorsports for the RS5. I imagine it will take my 0-60 down by a whole second....right???
    Thanks Muggy, Alex, hahnmgh63

So here's what I am currently running: Vossen 19x10s ET50 with 275/30/19 which is what the car came with. I also have a set of OEM Euro 19" rims .

Car is lowered to the max, and I think on spacers but I need to check on this. Not sure about hubcentric rings though

So I have a huge offset...

Can someone let me know what the stock rim bolt specs are? Ball or taper?

I am running 30mm spacers right now so to go back to factory Euro 19s presume I will need new bolts

    Thx!

Pretty much all VW & Audi spec OEM that I know of are ball seat....aftermarkets are going to generally be cone/taper seats. So yes, you'll need to go back to ball seat if you go with OEM spec wheels.

Looks like OEM RS6 floating seat lug bolt is 28-30mm from tip of threads to base of ball..

So out of the blue I stumble across an OEM set opf the rims I am after, 19x8.5 40mm offset, from an S4 B9

I have a set of 255/35/19 Contis - will these be OK? The factory 19" Euro RS6 rims I have waiting to go on are 19x9...

    So will 19x8.5 be OK?

And any idea on value of a refinished set of 19x9 Euros, never seen the road since being refinished

    Thx!

Factory Euro 19s are perfect for this car I feel. Prob $1500 for the set? Maybe more if refinished? They are hard to come by.

19x9 ET29 worked out well for my taste - thanks to nene for passing on the well-specified wheels.

Check this site out - it should help you with the fitment at least. You might still need to confirm clearance.

Looks like it would work well to me, but make sure to ensure you’re comfortable.
