    Very good, got the piece sitting right here, and my mechs agree, they've seen that plastic part fail many times...

    I bought 4 from him last week. Good way to permanently repair a inherent problem.

    Ok, please pardon my ignorance, but I cannot envision where this goes on the car...can someone please advise?

    I remember only seeing threaded fittings at the oil cooler.

    search of this forum for bufkin shows several posts. Common problem with Audi 4.2V8's listed in ebay post.
