Although it is interesting that the photographer jumped right to RS6 test mule as opposed to S6????

    Define 500+ hp.

    Cadillac-V and MB-AMG wagons have 550+ hp.

Please let it be at least in that range.

I am surprised that Car and Driver says the S8 does 0-60 in 4.0 (with 520hp). The RS6 should be quicker in theory since that weighs a bajillion pounds.

    Yes, looks very good.

As far as the hp. If it doesn't have plenty more than the s6 it wont sell. I don't think audi is dumb enough to offer it with less than 550.

I'm happy to see some fender flare. I was worried that it would be like the new s6. Ben, as far as missing something, in these pics your right. I think they'll likely change the grill quite a bit to look more "RS" as well as the front bumper. Just my assumption. I also this something will be done with the rear bumper. Have RS cars come with quad tips before?

maybe it's just me, but RS Audis need fat fenders. I like the C5 over the C6 because the flares are more pronounced.

I'm guessing Audi will break the 600bhp mark. The C6 was close to it, and the C7 will need to be more - RS models are usually closer to AMG than to BMW M-series in that regard.

One would think and hope...but then again one can only hope that they send it to the U.S., too.

This is a great forum with great members.

It is a pity that Audi did not send the C6RS6 to the US as I can just imagine all the good posts on C6 mods etc and innumerable 'kill' stories!

The C5 is a great car and i still have mine, but a plain remapped C6 is phenomenal in the power/torque department.

    john

ps this is not a taunting email- I just think Audi really blew it by not sending the C6 RS6 to the US when other lesser volume markets like Australia and NZ got it.
