Battery died, jumped car, auto-close windows don't work.

Now I have to hold the buttons to fully open or close - auto function not operating. Any ideas why?

It has happened to me after a dead battery on any of my Audis, but went away after I ran each window fully down and then back up. I think it needs to see the limit switch at each end before it goes back to auto function.

Aha, that's the trick I heard mentioned before. Yep, after a few passes mine was working after this happened last time.

Yep, that's how I reset them in the P car...push the button DOWN and hold it until it is all the way down, then push the UP button until it is all the way up..should be good?

Guess I should be glad the battery has lasted 8 years and live with the quirks.
