Triple turbo 3-litre BMW diesel to produce over 600 pounds in new tire bills every three months.
500hp and 600ft/lbs from a 3.0L diesel, sounds extremely highly tuned with unbelievable amounts of turbo lag. If its true and they manage to have no more than you expect from a 3.0L turbo diesel than I will concede that they are one of the greatest engine builders EVER.

Impressive but consider pulling 20,000rpm for 2 hours, as they were by '05, and producing ~1000hp from just 3.0 litres normally aspirated.
So Audi finally catch up to the 35D engine and then BMW move the game along, looking forward to driving this triple turbo Bimma.
