    hello,

    I live in France, and I ordered an RS5 in March 2011 ( from Audi watford uk ).

    With the problems in Japan, I had to change the color daytona gray for black phantom.

    Some pics :




















    Beginning of disillusion ...

    1 / I received it in August 2011. At this day, audi partner still not repaid the color change as agreedn and in fact... i can dream about it ... ( I am afraid that Audi UK have explained that you are not eligible for the paint refund as your vehicle was not in a scheduled build week )

    2 / Dyno test ... My last car was the Brutal M3 E92... after 3000km... i have to see if they are the 450ps, because i find my last M3 more brutal with only 420ps

    direction to revo6, they have a dyno rotronics.

    Here is the result of the transition to the bench of my Audi RS5.

    At Motor:

    I have to inform, that the same day, just 5 minutes after the test of my rs5, to confirm that the dyno is right, we have try the 123d of my friend... and the ps and torque was 203,5 ps ( for 204 from BMW ) and 403nm ( for 400nm ).


    Step 2: contact with audi france , after complet DIS from the R8 partner, they ordered check up from engineer. (6 weeks my first Call )

    Step 3: various **** test from the engineer
    test on the road (147km with my car)

    Wich tests???? => Launch controls !!!!!!!!!!!! RAAAAAAA, i never do it with my car to protect the stronic...

    Step 4 : conclusion from engineer

    tests from 0 to 100 in launch control are good.

    the problem of power on the dyno can not be validated. ( not iso )

    rims 20 "are losing power
    we must put gas vPower shell and not the total SP98
    the car is only 6000km.

    I was furious!!!!!!!!!!!!! they give me the car so sad .... F**** !!!

    18% less power, 15% less torque .... here is the NEW RS5

    yes ... a beautiful car !!!!


    just, if it can have the gtr motor... it will be the MONSTER!!!

    as the rs4 B5 !!!

    Yeah the B7 RS 4 has the same problem, one even dyno'd at 299 PS - speak to MRC Tuning, they get B7 RS 4s that put out 360 PS upto 450 PS, yes on a NA motor! Also, how come you ordered through a dealer in the UK when you life in France? Car looks great by the way.

    Looks like your car has a fault .. we saw a very low RS4 which had a trapped pipe ..Also make sure the valves for the exhaust are open ...

    Did you remove the pipes for the valves at the rear ??

    If so you MUST block off the tubes, otherwise the car will loose vacuum

    100% it has a fault !

    As a check you could run some VBox acceleration tests from 60-100mph and see if those results are also poor. Sometimes car ECUs just don't like being still whilst the wheels are spinning. 60-100 should take just over 6s or thereabouts if you start WOT from about 40mph.

    hi mens,
    i do not have a VBOX,

    before I had the M3 (e92), and the performance of the BMW gived more feelings of ps ...

    Some news
    the ingeneer didn't see the probs of cuts,
    he was too busy, make launch control....
    I had random cuts at acceleration => after DIS : misfire ( i don't know if it's the perfect expression ) cylinder 5

    I have to wait until next week, they will search wich is the prob!
    but I doubt that the 80hp missing comes from that.

    it must match the cuts only.
    i will go on a different dyno after audi intervention.

    this morning 0°C,

    early, we test again my rs5 ( the first test was done with 20°c out, and after a run on the road! the motor was hot )


    so today, no runs, fresh car on a frozen day

    we test my rs5 ( 08/2011 and 7100km ) and an other rs5 ( 03/2011 and 12 000km )









    here the results



    So .. after crying, t the boss asks if we want proof that the results are correct!

    Okay,

    a porsche 997 Carerra 4S ( 355ps and 407nm ) take place on the dyno

    you can see the results 360ps and 398nm
