    Wheel Size Fitment Guide

I searched high and low. On this forum and others. I found anecdotal information for specifc wheels. I used calculators, but they just confuse me. Either I am blind or slow (likely both), but I cannot find a definitive guide to wheel fitment for our cars - without spacers.

For example, our winter wheel is 18x7.5 ET20. Is that the max ET, or will ET30 fit? If I use a calculator (like one on 1010), for 18x8, it shows a comparable ET of 26. But will 30 do? for 18x8.5 ET is 33, but will a 35 do?

Is there a rule of thumb, or a calculator, or a chart somewhere that spells things out for numbskulls like me?

    Thanks.

30mm is the stock offset for the 8.5"x18" rims the USA got. Zero offset would be max, if your rim isn't too wide to hit the fender lip that is.

You'd need at leat a 5mm spacer I bet with an offset of 35mm for clearance up front. An offset of 33mm is close, a test fit is the only true way to know.

Google it, tons of talk on rim offsets. Hartmann's site (as well as others) shows what commonly fits without issues.

From Hartmann's site, first 3 wheels fitment recommendations:

    Audi RS6: 2003 (19" ET38)
    Audi RS6: 2003 (19" ET38 15mm spacers)
    Audi RS6: 2003 (19" ET25)

    Hence confusion.

It really depends on the individual wheel....hence a test fit needed for wheels not yet listed.

Sportec Mono 10. 19x8.5 et+35 with 11mm spacers. No rubbing. Someone should start a sticky for this list
