If it is the control unit (4B0614517AC) it is $1386 at GenuineVWAudiparts
Not sure this is what you are looking for...
If you need a photo of what I am looking at, please ask...

Are you simply looking for the cost of the part, or also labor cost?

Just got the car back...turns out it was the right front Speed Sensor. Total cost = $450. Part #4BO-927-803-E at $220, plus Labor of $193.34. Does that sound reasonable?

It looks like I lucked out that it was not the ABS Sensor. Thx for the feedback.

haha, i said abs when i meant speed sensor. i had the right part selected anyway. Labor was high, as was the part. You really could have replaced the part yourself, and saved about 70 on the part.

My RS6 has over 110K miles. It replaced my 2004 S4. I will be looking for economical solutions to any issues going forward since it has been finding a few ways to lighten my wallet. I love the car, it is completely stock. Thanks again for the insight.
