One Porsche I would like to see do well is the No 9 car, the hybrid. It was actually in the top 3 up until just an hour or so ago when it pulled into the garage after a small collision a half hour earlier. At the time, it appeared like no damage occurred and stayed out, but obviously something went wrong. It is now all the way back in 23rd...

And the Playstation R8 has had problems, AGAIN.

Audi up to 4th and 6th!

Bad news coming in on the #135 Golf that was WAY out in front of its class! Sitting in front of pitlane.

Correction, I was thinking of #235 Golf 24... it is still WAY out in front and now up to 23rd overall!

20th overall for the top placed Lexus LFA!

RXBG, you don't need to register for radiolemans. You only need to click on "listen live" just above the log in area.

The R8s are close (4th, 5th, 6th) but need something to happen to the front runners to have a shot. Meanwhile, Frank Biela and crew are up to 14th now overall (class SP 4T)! Only a little over an hour and a half left.

    RXBG, just fan this:

Highlight the car you want to track on the left for it to be highlighted on the map.

Something is up with the #32 Mercedes and it had to pit... #14 R8 LMS just went past! The R8s now hold 1st, 2nd AND will hold 3rd for the GT3 class if the #32 doesn't get back out soon!!! Under 40 minutes to go!

    Overall:

    Porsche 1st
    BMW 2nd
    Audi 3rd

NOOOOOO!!! #15 Audi just suffered a puncture and is limping back to the pits. This might prevent a class podium sweep!

***edit*** #15 back out and in action!

    Porsche wins!
BMW and Audi complete the podium. The R8 LMSs take all three podium spots in their GT3 class! Biela in the top #125 TT RS win their class by EIGHT LAPS and place 14th overall, even beating out the higher classed Gallardo #34 with Hans Stuuck.

    Good!
What are the class differences? Those two in front, what are their classes? Thought they were GT3 as well...

The differences are more down to technicalities, the first two were GT but not "GT3". I wish the class distinctions were more clear like Le Mans used to be. Now we GT, GTa, GTB, GTS, GTX,Y,Z... Ok, I exaggerate but you get the idea.

In the end, the R8 LMS was competitive but since they were technically in a different class they are able to post class wins. Hell, a class SWEEP!

Still amazed at how well the TTRS driven by former mutiple Le Mans winner Biela did!

Any other thoughts as to what they liked (or disliked) most about this years 24HR NUR?

My one complaint: Crappy coverage of the nighttime racing... One can only watch pit lane and the front straight for so long.
