I think it is generally accepted that a stock RS6 in good condition will run a 13.1 sec 1/4 mile and 0-60mph in 4.8 secs.

There are some exceptional stock ones that will break into the 12's.

Car and Driver did an extensive series of comapros with hot sedans like E55 back in 2004 and could not get the RS6 into the 12's.

Inability of RS6 to brake torque and thus getting off the line and the relatively 'slow' first 60ft acceleration time was the killer. The RS6 loses half a second inthe 1/4 mile time at the start. just my two cents worth. my best time standard was 13.01 secs for the 1/4 mile.

if you review the video mentioned which is the Motor Trend rs/6 vs e55, the rs/6 did a 12/6 with the e55 running `12.2
That is why I said it was a hot factory stock rs/6

I had one of the 'hot' stock RS6s...my car easily did 0-60 in the low 4's. Never did a drag strip run though for the 1/4 mile...wish i had. I was able to take several BMW V10 M5s 0 to 60. Nevermind vets I should have not been able to. Also explains the 4 transmissions probably. Dyno'd the car once and got 395hp and 390-5 torque at the wheels so way more than 450hp.

I know this is an old thread, but I was playing with a Pbox yesterday and managed the times below.

The car did spin all four wheels, the Michelin PSS are slippy in the wet, and I had a passenger, so possible improvement on these times too. I'll have another play this weekend.

I doubt I'll do that, I've nowhere to mount a camera and it's too dangerous.
This proves the MRC tune is a strong one, it has always been smooth and very OEM like except when you boot the throttle. I don't want to make a habit of 0-60 runs (poor box), but I'm keen to do a 60-124 MPH (100-200kph) run and then call it quits.

Not a performance box expert, but it seems some of you are usinf 1 foot rollout like American mags and others arent... only comparable if you all have the same settings.
