Youry, i was thinking about the RS5 factory in Germany !

For the model i kept a couple of days, my dealer is the only responsible for the mistake, and he's the one paying for the car...

Back to that incredible mistake, both commercial and secretary didn't crosscheck the total amount of the options. Added to the fact that for a technical reason 4 of them did not appear on the paper version of the order, here's the reason why they have to sell a 120KE RS5 with no B&0 or heating lether seats.

What I can't understand is that everytime I buy a new Audi or VW after all the options have been picked they go and take 2 printouts showing the complete list of itemized options you chose, the finalised price of the car delivered to you showing adjustment of possible discourt and the deposit you are paying, you sign both copies which you receive one and they keep the other, even if you make changes after this point up to the cut off build date it's reprinted for you to sign.

Is this how it's done in France and if not then it should.

    Hi everyone!

I should pick up the car in an few weeks now.

I found a picture of a FL RS5 with those new RS4 wheels:

I've also noticed special breaks on that car:

Do you think it comes as standart (on special request) on are the calipers post-added ? Looks like R8 brakes.

Great picture found! Can you share us link where did you find them?

Those red caliper are painted or they are from R8 GT - but I think they are painted, because rears are the same. I can get you a set of front calipers if you want

difficult to say but certainly not directly from audi. the colors seems darker than in the R8 GT brakes:

so my giuess is that its a simple paint job.

Thanks guys for your answer (will think about those calipers LittleDevil....). I'm just going to check first if there is something possible with Audi Exclusive (i'm not much fan of any sort of modification on a new car), but i guess it's too late, or just impossible if not an R8.

The calipers on that RS5 also have RS written on them so if they were R8 GT's someone first needed to remove the "Audi Ceramic" text and put on RS stickers. Not sure anyone is that crazy

If I may notice from those pictures, the rear discs seem to be of the new "flower" shape, while the front seem to be round.

Front are ceramic brakes/discs, that's why they are "round".

    Kind Regards

    Dear Ritchy,

the brake calipers are painted red. However this can not be advised, since even the most heat resistant color tends to a color alteration (seen Audi ceramic anthracite turn goldish after intense Track use |RS 6 Avant|).

The Audi R8 GT Brake calipers are not painted but anodized, which is very cost intensive choice. (a one time only production choice)
