... for you non-Dutch speakers. Looks better than the C6, IMHO.

Looks very nice indeed. Article says body is made out of 20% aluminium. The c6 3.0tdi tipped the scale at 1745kg, will this make it under 1700?

I am actually a bit disapointed by the exterior, looks like a big A4...now...the interior is just beautiful, simply gorgeous.

Both exterior and interior are simply stunning. The new 5-series wasn't that good-looking after all.

My take of the new C7 2012 Audi A6

Not sold yet, BUT it usually is a good sign, as for me, the design of new Audi's has always to evolve (R8 and A7 as an exception )

Let me start to point out my observations:

A mixture of existing C6 A6 and the current B8 A4 - not a bad combination, but missing little bit of OWN character

    This angle looks really good

    As well as this one

Not a fan of this one - too much bodywork between the single frame grill and the headlights - or is the SFG too small

Here you can hint the Audi A1 inspired light design - the little "overhang" on the lower part

Another masterpiece of interior design - Audi still keepts the edge on the competition

Slowly growing on me - now bringt it on in LAva grey and we are talking

    Now I need the Avant

LOVE the interior. Exterior I like from most angles but as usual need to see in person but i do think it lost a few of the weak lines of the C6 in the front that never looked right to me.

    More info on InsideLine

And what i posted in the other thread:
Full frontal shots are beautiful, the tail lights look dubious at best to me, I'd rather have the face lifted C6 lights any day of the week.
Love the full LED headlights, great interior, identical to the A7 as far as i could tell, the side profile is too tame ... and very similar to the A4 and A8, in the past there was a clearer differentiation.

+1 Audi need different rooflines. This roofline is perfect for the A6. However, the A4 should have a roofline more like previous A4s.

this is the sexiest and best looking german/non-german mid range sedan on the market. i am actually surprised by how aggressively they styled it. i was expecting something dull and conservative. this car looks better than the A7; it is better proportioned and balanced. no awkward angles on this thing. audi hit a home run with this one.

no where in the h*ll is that new V8 engine audi?

the S-line is just sick!! not sure abt the standard lower fascia... it's too generic, like A4 and A1!
overall great design but much better as I said in S-line trim!

These cars just keep getting better and better, don't believe how they do it!

I never liked the old BMW 5-series, but the new one is pretty good looking both in sedan and touring.
I hope my neighbours replace their ASAP probably never could talk them into Audis as they're pretty hard core.

But the new A6 is up there too, didn't think they could do it but they did!

    Bye bye Mercedes...
