    What rims should i get?

I know its only a week old but i am already looking for rims for this. Summer application. What is everyone using and if you have a pic to post it would be great.

I am really leaning towards the MTM Titanium Click image for larger version.

The MTM rims look fantastic, no question about it, but they are so heavy! For the money why not find something lightweight and benefit from your expense?

^^ what he said, the MTM rims do look fantastic but the price is a joke -- they are way too heavy and way too expensive, at that price point they should be lightweight and forged. You are paying for the name.

If you're going to blow that kind of cash I would get HRE P40s -- forged and much lighter, and I think they look tits. Or if you don't like mesh style, there are a ton of other options out there in that price range.

Oh yes. Now you're getting what you're paying for. That polished finish is a little blingy... wonder if they do a titanium finish?

for the money the VMR's are hard to beat for weight and finish.....but I'm partial !

I really looked hard at HRE's - had several sets on my old A8 W12 but it's just too hard to justify the $.... heck one rim/tire was more then my whole VMR setup with tires and mounting.shipping etc !

and Jacob at VMR was great to work with..... the 19x 9.5 et 33 fit on my car, with 034 control arms I don't need spacers any more to clear, without I ran 3mm all the way around. and i am running taller ( by .45inch ) 265/35/19's to get a decent sidewall..... they're 011's so certainly summer only in your area but there may be other options. I am very impressed with how quiet they 011's are given the tread and wear rating.

Vossen is local to me... I've seen alot of their stuff and they offered me a demo deal to shoot the W12 but I really never "felt" any of their designs.... and they have had some issues with returns....

short of that I think the Rs-Gt's / RGR's are perfect on the car.....I had a set on my previous RS6 in 20" but they were on the edge of comfort even with 275's

others I'd throw in the mix in the higher end: DPE ( their signature line), Rennen, Vorsteiner and perhaps Volk......

on the lower - Radarwerks, VMR, Achtuning, and Rotiform

I will at some point search for a ultra light replacement but I'm still down 8lbs with my setup over stock

Let us know what you end up going with !

    cheers

    cheers.

I was lucky enough to find a set of Sportec Mono 10's at a good price. Used, but in good shape. Had them re-finished and away I went. I do like the BBS-RGT, also. MANY good options, but most are pricey.

Yes... a classic Audi choice. Like a much better version of the original ten spokes. Hard to find. There's a black set for sale on audizine right now.

I would have jumped on that one already, like 3 weeks ago, but the width is too skinny...

So, based on that price list the Mono 10 20" plus spacer is almost $1,700 per CORNER? WOW! Prices went up! $6,800 for the four. And, let me say the 20" rides VERY rough.

Speedtrapped should be able to add a word or two about 20" rims.
IMO, 20" could work but if there isn't enough rubber and the suspension is set stiff, it is too harsh...
