    It is part of the trans wiring harness, I don't think you can buy it separately.

    twinsteve, how do you know you need one?

    Just wondering as my beast just saw a code (but no CEL) for this and car seems to be working fine, and was trying to diagnose...

    Not 100% sure, but I saw the same code you must have...along with TC and EGT sensor codes...no CEL though...going to dealer this week

    I think some of it may be based off recommendation/comments in the other thread about the t/c failures..

    My code was the temp sensor only, no other codes which is strange. I did run my battery down not too long ago due to a brake switch issue (stayed on) which is now fixed (thanks to hahnmgh63). Cleared mine and will see if it comes back this week.

    Let us know how it goes with the dealer.

    If you just purchased the car and the Fidelity....I would tread very quietly and not let anyone call the extended warranty with a diagnosis until you get the news first. If you're in the first couple weeks of ownership and try a trans claim....look out.
