Some "benchmark" numbers for my car

I had a chance to head out with the VAG and log a couple of quick runs in my car this afternoon. I did two 0-60 runs, followed by two consecutive 60-90 runs. Here's the transcripts:

    Tuesday,24,August,2010,18:10:17:35277
    Control Module Part Number: 4D1 907 558 Component and/or Version: 4.2l V8/5VT G 0002

    US Units
    0 to 60 mph: 4.2 +- 0.16s

    US Units
    0 to 60 mph: 4.2 +- 0.16s

    US Units
    0 to 60 mph:
    1/4 mile:
    60-90 mph: 3.9 +- 0.15s

    0 to 60 mph:
    1/4 mile:
    60-90 mph: 3.9 +- 0.17s
    660 feet:

And here is some data from a previous tune of mine for comparison, two 0-60 runs followed by three consecutive 60-90 runs:

    0 to 60 mph:
    1/4 mile:

Sorry for the differences in formats, I forgot how to get the screenshot of the VAG reading.

Try hitting the "Prt Sc" button, then paste into paint for editing. Those VAG numbers must've been fun logging!

Oh, that's right! Oh well, I'll try to do a few more in the next couple of days. My main purpose was to go out and get some good block 002, 003, and 115 logs, but in the confusion of trying to flee the scene, I closed out of the controller without saving it. It's supposed to be in the mid to low 70's for the next couple of days, so let the logging begin!

Erik doesn't like business taking place on the forum, so I'm doing my best to oblige that wish. I will say that all said and done, it was a bit less than the MTM ecu/tcu upgrade.

Why do you say that? Seemed like a good value, or am i wrong? 600 for what i am guessing is about 415hp/500tq to the wheels on the 91 tune? But those numbers dont add up. I thought our cars were about 5s 0-60 stock...

<<<=== Thinks maybe this is the bullet, or lack thereof, which Pat speaks of...

Yep, here is a 0-60 run when my car was stock:

My issue with the EC'd tune was the issues in the map that caused glitches in the car, and the lack of a resolution to the problem. In the end, I finally figured out what was wrong with the map, and lets just say, I'm glad that my motor survived.

My head hurts after looking at all the different formats. Yeeks

Yes, I said from the get go that the 93 oct tune was too much. Dammit, now I have to get my LM-1 and data log my A/F ratios on the 91 oct tune. Thats if I can keep our E55 AMG from blowing up tomorrow. As in boom, bomb, explosion.

There is a heat wave in the Southwest:

    Good for thawing out
    Bad for heat soaked RS6..

V8weight - is your RS6 the one that was recently in Gumball 3000 rally that started in NY a month ago? That exhaust sounded great.
