No this is just an impression of what it could look like.

The bigger the car the bigger the need for a powerful engine (which could then be used in smaller cars)!

The new A8 is faster than my A6 2.7TQ MTM.
I know because an Audi test driver proved that to me this summer on the Autobahn...

Does anyone know if Audi will build an A8 Avant?
I have a German magazine here:"Auto Motor und Sport" nr23 Oktober 2002, there is a timeline with new models from Audi, Mercedes and BMW and on page 19 it says, there will be an Audi A8 Avant in March 2004. Does anyone know anything about this?

In the same magazine as mentioned above they speak of:

March 2004: new A4 Coupe
March 2004: A8 Avant
July 2004: new A6
October 2004: Audi GT
February 2005: A3 SUV
March 2005: Audi Offroader
June 2005: new TT

I don't know how much of this is true. Just passing on the info from the magazine. Maybe someone knows some more about this?

I dont think Audi will produce a new TT.
Look at all the sportmodels.
UrQuattro, SportQuattro & S2. Never a new model on an old name.
Therefor I think the replacer to the TT will be called something new.
Still, this is only my very personal thoughts.

There's a new TT in the Audi release schedule anyway. I think it is way to successful to be forgotten.

Okay just as i thought then!

Nice to have a little road "battle" with the new A8
Next year hopefully I will leave them behind me, just drove my car down to ACE-Competition for some minor modifications
