I am pretty sure B5 S4 and RS4 already have larger holes cut into the belly pan stock. They do not have the alum lips to help pull the air from the bay. But they do have 6 good size longer holes in this same position

Yea, I may not be able to salvage mine. After I got the engine/tranny out to add salt to the wound, I went out to the carport on the side of my shop and jumped in my truck, walked up to it from behind, didn't notice that the wind had blown my belly pan over and it was sitting in front of the truck. I proceded to drive over it and heard some crackling going on, SH$T !!!

Well - count me as another convert to this mod - took me a while to finally do it ( the mod time was a couple hours) - but it really makes a difference - the amount of heat coming out from under the car is amazing. Butt Dyno seems to notice a difference as well especially after driving for a while (less heat soak)
I also had to order a new "dampening cover" since mine was shot and breaking apart. I was still able to make the mod, but a new one from genuine is on the way.
Dave - talked with Brian at BND. The ACES is a catalyst so you need a certain concentration for it to be effective. If there is less than 2.5/3 ozs per 6 gallons then the effectiveness starts to drop off.
any idea which will lower temperature inside the engine bay is always usefull on our RS6...
bolts - I am impressed, - I used rivets and also love this mod. Do you have data on temp difference?

Why are you impressed about the bolts? :S
On a normal summer day, the temp reaches 38 - 40°C. Before the mod, the oil temp reached always what I think is 105°C (between the 90°C and 120°C marks). After the mod, the oil temp barely passes over the 90°C mark.
But of course, when I am stuck in traffic with speeds less than 25 km/h the oil temp reaches 105°C again.
Here is a picture of my dashboard:
