Did you take that picture today? I thought I was going to get washed away or blown away in Torrance all day until late afternoon.

I like the looks of that pair. Nice combo indeed.

Take some additional shots with better quality. What wheels do you have on the S8? I would like to have one some day. Hell, may as well have 6 or 7 cars around here. Wife wants a RS6 avant after watching Layer Cake this weekend. Oh crap, she wants to cart the dog around in the avant. Seems the LX470 is too big. Yeah, the Golden puppy is already 30lbs on his way to 75. Just great now she wants the avant.

BTW, did you see the VMR 710 pics? We fit the 9.5 wheel/275/30 tire on Bruce's Mugello RS.

An Avant is better than a divorce and her quest for Daniel Craig LOL!

    Thanks all.

Dave, those are stock wheels on the S8. I love the car for longer cruises (took it to Vegas pre-Xmas) and the only thing that bugs me about it is the really small cupholder. Has plenty of giddyup.

Yes, I lusted over those 710's you guys got, but just can't get over the bitch it's going to be to clean them behind the spokes. I like the straight spoke look of the 701's and I think they'll be easier to maintain...though who knows when, or if, they will arrive some day

Got it...just noticed your S8 is the 03. The earlier models had different rims.

Yeah, cleaning will come down to using a stick device with microfiber end on it. I use it on my 9 spokes and the wifes
AMG wheels. Very quick job of cleaning between spokes.

I used to think Daytona was the fastest color, but now that I've had Blue, I can't go back.

Selling the S8 to finance some upgrades to the Beast.

Putting it on Autotrader for $25k; will sell here for $23k.

Has 36k miles and is very clean. Relatively new rubber and brakes. Well maintained. Thanks.

There was a real estate agent about 6 weeks ago debating whether to purchase the RS6 or the S8 and this would be PERFECT!
