Extreme Audi RS6 950 hp from EDT.

The guys from Essing Diesel Tuning, in the Netherlands, are known for working on diesel engines tuning but also for developing technological innovations for the racing track.
But they do also some extreme engine tuning if customer wants it!
Because the knowledge and the ability of mechanical tuning is still present at Wim Essing, they decided to do an extreme project, an Audi RS-6 with a standard capacity of 580 hp upgrade with both mechanical tuning and software tuning to: 950 hp @ 6900 Rpm & 965 Nm @ 6800 Rpm.

This project has a total of 3 weeks work duration. The whole engine was out before they could adjust the mechanical parts. The RS-6 engine an impressive look, judge for yourself!

    Audi RS-6 Engine mechanics:
To reach this kind of extreme power, there was a lot of mechanics EDT had to process.
    2 x Garett competition ball bearing turbo’s 230.000 Rpm
    Compression ratio decreased
    Watercutted cylinderhead gasket stainless steel
ECU remapping via CMD in 7 stages
    Competiton exhaust
    2 x K&N sportairfilter
    2 x cylinderhead “geflowed” & re-shaped
    2 x racing katalysts superflow
    20 competition valves extra
    Ceramic breakes.
    Field Data after tuning:
    Acceleration 0 – 200 Km/h : 9,158 sec. (0 – 125 MpH : 9,158 sec.)
Fuel consumption under full throttle: 43 L/100 Km
    Top speed : Calculated 380 – 400 Km/h (236 – 249 MpH), (not tested)

    Acceleration 0 – 200 Km/h : 9,158 sec. (0 – 125 MpH : 9,158 sec.)

That is VERY, VERY fast! Do you have any proof, video, log etc.?

    audi v12 diesel Q7

the new v12 Q7 diesel churns out 1000nm through a six speed tiptronic.

for those C5 rs6 engines churning out big torque numbers, you would think you might be able to upgrade the C5 auto transmission in the same way as the Q7 has - internal upgraded clutches, torque converter- a possibility?

    cost might be another matter.

    Wouldn't that be rather heavy?

What about the ricardo (spelling) trans that is in the Veyron? That supports large amounts of HP/TQ in an AWD format...

    No 1

Bring on the videos and the logs. Never mind the reliability

This thing is like a Veyron station wagon for 4-5 people, plus dogs

I'd love to see this setup in the next Russian street race

you know that replacement transmission for the Veyron costs just over $120,000. It also features full-time permanent four-wheel drive, using the Haldex Traction system. It uses special Michelin PAX run-flat tyres, designed specifically for the Veyron to accommodate its top speed, which reportedly cost $25,000 US per set. The tires can only be removed from the rims in France, a service which reportedly costs $70,000. The driver must, using a special key (the "Top Speed Key"), toggle the lock to the left of his seat in order to attain the maximum (average) speed of 408 km/h (254 mph). The key functions only when the vehicle is at a stop, when a checklist then establishes whether the car—and its driver—are ready to enable 'top speed' mode. If all systems are go, the rear spoiler retracts, the front air diffusers shut and the ground clearance, normally 12.5 cm (4.9 in), drops to 6.5 cm (2.6 in).
