Lightbulb Anyone going to IAA Frankfurt?

    http://www.iaa.de/Englisch/fr_home.htm

I'm going to be there Sept. 11 - 12:th and then I'm heading for Nürburgring for the weekend.

    Anyone else going?

I wont be going...But it'll be nice to see lots of SLR pictures and some other new car launches..

I hope who ever goes enjoys the event and I guess I'll just have to tune in through BBC's TopGear a month after the event, to see what was going on.

I might get a special demo on the SLR, but frankly speaking I'm not that interested in that car.

? I guess I'm wrong again, but we're going with three guys. One of us arranged things and said the tickets are €13 or 15?

    Is it sth different...?

In the public days that's the entrance yes. In the trade days it is much more expensive.

    But...

    Less people = better pictures

with trade days what do you mean exactly? I assume it's sth with buying cars, but can't you order a car from a dealer on the other days then...? (sorry)

The trade days are called fachbesuchertag in german. It means that those days are for the people who works in the car-business. It´s less people than on the public-days but still very crowded.

We, me and Luxobarge, are not journalists but we have press admission tickets

I will probably be there with a friend of mine..
i think you can probably find me at the audi stand (and only there :P )

made enough pics of other cars in Istanbul 3 weeks ago
    (damn)

    btw:
will the new A6 be there?!
it doesnt seem to be listed anywhere..
is it such a secret or did it simply not make it to the IAA?

I haven't headr much about the new A yet... I doubt it will be present in Frankfurt, they would have made sure everybody knew that imo..

Do you guys already have some good pics of the new A? Don't think it will change a lot, will it? Maybe the handy touchscreen from the A8 (MMi or what is it called?), that ould be nice!
