    Performance Upgrades = No Warranty?

    Hi All:

    Current D2 owner contemplating swapping over to a RS6. Have reviewed this site (thanks all) and there are plenty of issues to worry about with this beast.

    Advice seems to be in the order of be sure to buy an extended warranty ASAP after purchase. There is a vehicle located in IN in the Auto Trader that has a "MTM Performance Package" included. Does anyone know if this vehicle would then be warranty-able? Thanks.

    if it passes a pre-purchase inspection by your warranty company then I don't see why not, but I guess on the whole of it, warranty companies frown upon warranty voidable modifications....
