I would have preferred it with engine sound, no music and faster driving...

Interesting though to see the cars same color and head to head : in this vid I find the M3 better looking and more agressive, the RS5 looks to gentle as opposed to other vids and pics.

We start to see quite a few RS5 in Switzerland. No one from the forum has taken delivery of his RS5 yet ? Quite strange...

    But the "frenchies" will soon...

    I'm also very much looking forward a comparison RS5 vs RS4 B7.

Great, very curious to see it vs a (good quality) remaped RS4 saloon which is what ? at least 100kg lighter as well...

Funny because I actually think the RS5 looks more aggressive in that video. The hulking 20" wheels and the menacing front end look awesome. BTW, the music is from Postal Service......if anyone even cared.

    Hi,

Information and prices (very expensive) have just started to come through in Australia, however i was told yesterday that DRC would not be available on Aus delivered cars.

Can this be confirmed? As this was definitely something I wanted.

    Thanks

Finally confirmed... This will be a great car ! Looking fwd to the official specs and pics. I expect the shape of the coupe to be insane.

C-coupe is hatch, it's smaller than rs5... rs5 is more compareble to e-coupe amg (e-coupe is made on c-chasis, but is real coupe, not hatch, and is more relevant in size terms).

This upcoming new C coupe has nothing to do with the current hatch C-Class you are referring to. It will be the old CLK style which is same as RS5 segment.

I don't want to start useless argument, but just check size parameters.

    E-coupe is 4,698m length, RS5 is 4,649m - almost same.
C-saloon (remember, that saloons are always bigger than same model coupe) is 4,581m, which is really less, than RS and e-coupe. New c-coupe will be even smaller.

I'm sure it will be outstanding car, especially for RWD lovers. Probably it would even beat RS. But it wouldn't be the same class. So, I'd just better compare 5 to E, rather then C.

UPD: btw, IMHO this new c-coupe looks horrible comparing to M3, rs5 or even Caddi

Dont worry we all are here to argue and exchange ideas on a friendly manner...

You take the size argument which makes sense on a pure cm point of view.

I see it this way : both RS5 and C63 coupe or saloon are fully competing together as they both are the most "young driven" product, with the most focus on driving feel, handling, and fun factor, etc.

An E class even AMG will neither be bought by same customer type nor driven/used the same way as a RS5/C63. And obviously an E63 AMG is not built, equipped as these two : no bucket etc...

This is at least very clear to me and many others here as we have benn considering both cars as future "candidate".

    Of course one can disagree...

I don't think bucket seats are a matter of driver's age. It's more about price. rs5 starts 10 euro more than C-saloon amg.
