I personally think the 520 PS had very strong horses, Mr Ruf's personal car.

And the 997TT have had a tought time vs. tuned 996s as well.

I just picked these as examples, there are some 650 hp 996s that perform similar times as well.

It seems that this new version of the 997 Turbo laps the Nurburgring about 10 seconds faster than the previous one:

I thought SA already tested the R8v10 and it did 7:44, is that wrong?:eye: maybe in the hands of Audi it did 7:39 but if so then it's news to me.
Search and you will find the truth.

You are right. SA HvS did 7.44min and that is excellent time since it is within 2s of Tom Kristenssen time according to my Motorpresse friend.

On Press intro event in Portugal one Porsche guy said that 997.2 Turbo PDK is about 5s faster on the Ring then R8 V10.

    Hi guys!

By Porsche's own account, the 997.1 Turbo does the Ring in 7:38(that's the time mentioned and supposedly driven during the whole GT-R saga thing while ago). That would mean 7:28 for the 997.2 Turbo, I guess?

It seems so. Several people were discussing the same at Worldcarfans.
