Interesting Audi trio spoted in Spain

I did not know where to post it so it is here....

First pic: Two R8s, one is V10, other V8 and S5 which is apparently not totally standard...

R8 V10 is in Mugello Blue with Mugello Blue side blades, that color is not an standard item any more on R8s from MY2009 so, it is also some kind of test car. Ceramic brakes and standard 19" double spoke wheels with 305 rears(again something that you can not order normally). Car is also NA version...

Second pic: check out front on that S5....

BTW, all cars are with HN German plates.

    Interesing!

Could the R8 and the S5 be test mules for the R8 LMS and S5 Quattro Sport, respectively?

When you go to the webpage click "reload" because these pics saying "no hotlinking allowed" will remain in your cache and you will see them on the website too...

Simply go to my link and press reload in your browser a few times!

Could it be, that the R8 V8 is testing the new RS5 4.2 N/A 450 HP engine

And that the S5 has the 3.0 TFSI (S4) engine?

If he just pictured the R8 engine bay's you could see what's in there.

Next R8 will most likely get forced induction V8 with over head (between V) bi-turbo.

i agree with you on this. would be easier to cool in the mid engine bay.

how far along do you think this animal is in the development cycle?
    Past- A4, TT, S4

    Present- R8 V10
