I got mine around Halloween 2003.

I love driving it; how I feel about the car will depend on whether I have a severe transmission problem or not. I won't find that out until I take the car in for the DRC service, which will happen when I return from my current vacation to Germany and Italy (Lake Como). I drove a Panamera Turbo today; nice ride, Porsche PDK is amazing. How come the Audi DSG is limited in the power it can handle if the Porsche is not??

The very cheapest "base model" RS 6 went for $82K.

Very believeable. Like I said, the base was $82K. $87K was more loaded, yours has Navi, no?

I know of no one that paid less than the $82K sticker price when new (July-Sept 03').

But as you mention, high $20's for a $80K+ just 6 years ago is a good deal in my book as well.
