Due to it spending 1/4 of its' life in the service bay, I have been able to keep the mileage down.

My irrational philosophy is use it while I got it! I've thought of having another daily driver- but I always end up saying "Why?" I know which one I would hop in when leaving the garage.

I've never understood the car "preservation mentality" myself; drive it like you stole it.

So how many others on the board are still original owners? You, Benman, HyOctane, Aronis,... maybe a separate thread is needed?
You guys are the true diehard RS6 enthusiasts, IMO!

Sometimes I wish I were, but being the second, I did save a lot of money. Bought a '04 A4 avant in Dec '03 for my wife instead, knowing I was prepping the battlefield early for the first wave of people turning in their RS6s when their leases were up (it was my Stalin 5-year plan). Luckily, Audi's build quality came through and we agreed a second Audi was a good idea!

It is nice knowing exactly where the "ole girl" has been, though. Except my wife refers to her car as "he" just to tweek me.

No where near as much the daily driver as it was before I got my R8...
An R8 and an RS6 in one garage: It doesn't get much better!
