EVO got 0-120mph in 15.6s and 130mph in 19.3s. Autocar's times were slower at 16.8s to the 120mph point but they found the TT to be well over a second quicker than the Cayman S on their dry handling course at Bedford.

Almost every reviewer has said the usual stuff about it not being of the same mould of the RS4, S4 and R8 but EVO did say that after 1000km they were converted to how the TT went about it's business, though everyone rates the real star to be the engine and not the chassis. My guess is that this engine will make it's way into much more 'hot' Audis than first thought.

    Edit:

Any idea as to why the lap time was so much slower than expected. Was weather the factor?

No, weather was not the factor. Overall chassis balance of TTRS is according to Sport Auto way too FWD like and car is prone to heavy understeer. Also, it feels very front heavy on the track in slow and fast corners. Interesting enough on the road steering feels pretty numb(do not forget then unlike R8 which use hydraulic servo steering TTRS use electrical one)...

BTW, Hockenheim time is within 0.5s what I expected. In ideal condition time can be max. 1.14,5min...
