Texas Audi Meet January 2010

Upcoming Audi Meet in Texas, Prelim write up:
Hello everyone,
Its been 7 years since the last Statewide meet.
Its time to do it again and do it proper

Where: Holiday Inn near Downtown and Harris Hill Track.
When: January 30-31st.

Friday January 29th.
6-10pm Out of town guests can check in to Hotel (Holiday Inn off I35 near the River near downtown). Meet up for drinks in Hotel Lounge.

Saturday January 30th. Preliminary Itinerary.
9-10am. Sign in. Pick up Tee shirts

10am- Random Tech sessions in the parking lot

11am depart on cruise. We'll drive out in the hill country on some choice roads to meet up at a photo destination prepared.

1pm - have a lunch in the hill country at a Restaurant

3pm return to Austin.

5pm - Banquet begins in Hotel banguet Room. Guest Speaker, Raffle, Silent auction. Presentation on Audi history and models.
6pm-8pm - Catered dinner at the hotel. Bar available in the room.

Sunday January 31st.
7am - Depart Hotel for San Marcos Harris Hill Track. 1.8 mile course.
9am - Cars run on track in predetermined run groups. Instructors will be available. Ambulance onsite.
130pm - Track session over. Everyone go home tired with a smile.


More information and costs as it gets planned out. A block of rooms will soon be available. Use "Texas Audi Group"
Cost for the track event will be $95. I'll know more on the banquet costs later this week. It'll include the catered dinner and is required to attend the presentation and silent auction occuring simultaneously in the banquet room.

9-11am Random Tech sessions and Show and Shine in the parking lot. This is where people can clean up their cars. meet other members and generally see the cars.

11am depart on cruise. We'll drive out in the hill country on some choice roads to meet up at a photo destination prepared. Expected total drive time is about 2 hours and 3 minutes with a 1 hour stop for lunch and about 1 hour booked for a photo shoot of all the cars at a scenic destination.

1pm - have a lunch in the Texas Hill Country at a Restaurant

2pm-3pm - Photoshoot.

4pm return to Hotel

5pm-7pm. Social in the Hotel Bar.

**completed tech inspection and approved helmet are required to go on the track** Have the Tech inspection done BEFORE you come to San Marcos.

Please download this form by clicking the image below. Fill out all information in the form. Please circle the size of T-shirts you wish to order and then multiply the number of shirts you want by 15. Multiply the number of hats you want by 20. Select one Entree for yourself and one for your signifcant other. Add additional entrees for you children if applicable. Sum up the total cost of all the Entrees. Now for the driving part, One sheet can only be used for each driver, so if you and your wife want to drive, please print out and turn in two sheets. Please read the instructions carefully and select the proper cost based on your driving experience.

Once finished, Scan the document into a PDF or mail the document to the addresses on the form. Payment can be made via a check, money order and mailed to my address along with the form. Or via Paypal to my email address on the form. If Using Paypal please remember to addon an additional 3% fee plus 0.30 cents. (so I encourage checks).
