I see M badges every day, on regular 3-series diesels. Funny, when you know the difference (power and all).
It looks pretty bad on a non M/RS car no matter what, but probably 90% of the people on the streets either don't know what M stands for, or they don't know how to tell if it's an M or not.
I keep saying M cause I never saw a fake RS yet, only M's. And no fake AMG's yet. But I am sure those are out there too, as we can see from the pics above

When I was in Taiwan I saw a LOT of fake AMGs, no fake RSs though...and a few fake Ms.

Correct me if I'm wrong but can't you opt for the AMG badge if you get the AMG sport package which includes different rims etc.

Yes, that's true.
But you can't opt for S63 badge if you "only" buy a S550...

And China is full of fake BMWs, Mercedes, Smart, Audi, Toyotas, Rolls-Royce.......................

Possibly but I'm not sure. But I am pretty sure they don't give you the option to make it say S63 instead of S550.
