    lambda sensors

    Hello!

After removing engine my RS6 have problems with transmission.

    My RS6 have these faults:
16515 Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Signal too Low
    16534 O2 Sensor Circ.,Bank2-Sensor1 Malfunction

Do I need to replace lambda sensors or is it possible to make Check engine light eliminator or something else?

I dont want to remove engine from my RS6 one more time.

    Search button is your friend

Sorry to hear the bad news.

If you read the list...you would know that there are a few items that must be replaced when the engine is out of the car.

    02 Sensors
    EGT Sensors
    Timing belt+waterpump

    Are just a few.

Having said that, you can replace the 02 Sensors without pulling the engine if you have good mechanics. Have them try

    Exhaust Gas Temp sensors

Another hard one to get at with the engine in the car. Book says you have to pull the engine to change 100 dollar sensor.

I replaced lambda sensors, but my RS6 have the same problem and faults:
16515 Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Signal too Low
    16534 O2 Sensor Circ.,Bank2-Sensor1 Malfunction

These faults appeared after engine removing from my RS6.

    Any ideas?

Hey DHall1, let me know if you can find them for that price. I've only seen them for around $250~$300 each.

    Clarify,

I have no idea what each sensor costs. My guess is that a egt sensor should be around 100.

If its really 5,000 then I stand corrected

if you get these codes, you do need to change both sensors. go onto ECStuning and order the O2 sensors or go to your dealership to get them . I recommend ECS.

the faulty O2 sensor will kill your gas mileage and make your car run like shit
