    owning the road

I took her on a trip through the south and up the eastern coastboard....I know it probably isn't the thing to do with a low miles ride like this, but it was awesome. So comfortable and smooth when calm and powerful when not. Drove home in bad weather, no problems, snow through west virginia, ice in ohio, great stance and poise. It really is a superlative car. I think I am in love!!!

    sawbonz, welcome to the forum.

What are you talking about? It is exactly what you should be doing!

Had my Beast for less than a hundred hours before all the 1000 "break in" miles were done. After that , road trips galore!

I've tapered off recently and am now sitting @ 32K. Still not too high of mileage. The car is just too fun to leave it sit in the garage.

Pretty new on the board but here's mine:

BBS CK rims, Wetterauer chip (525PS, dyno=517), RNS-E upgrade...rest is pretty much stock (tho about anything you could get optionally...).

when you did your chip, did they do a tranny chip/remap as well?

What do you mean by tranny/remap?

They did reflash the engine unit and gearbox unit.
It was done at approx. 20k km. Engine now has 60k km on it and runs fine.

    One more for the board...

Finally got some pictures taken. I've had my beast since 4/22 and I'm a believer. Coming from a 2.7t A6 I was surprised at how much heavier the steering is. I love how passengers brace themselves for fast corners and then relax when the car remains absolutely flat and they aren't subjected to any throwing motions. This one's bone stock with 56k, it feels like a brand new car. Love the radar, solar powered vent fans, onstar, paddle shifters, miss the extra console cup holder and that's about all. Integrate my iPod, add a Valentine, and I'm done. Maybe a chip, Joe's shop is just down the road apiece!

BF Goodrich G-Force T/A 255/40ZR18 95Y, all the way around. I've attached another picture where you can see an aluminum spacer, it has the rings on it and I'm wondering if anybody knows if that's stock or not? I saw Hoppen has spacers available and also wanted to know if anybody could recommend them or not.
