    Hello!

New to the forum. I've got a 2003 RS6 that I found last year in Connecticut with 24K original miles. Score! Options include carbon interior, OnStar, GPS, sound enhanced exhaust (soon to be replaced by a Milltek).

    Which Upgrades?

    Jaybeaux.

Do you belong the the Golden Gate Audi Club Chapter? If not, join. Then talk to Terry Geiser, located in Berkley, about upgrades that make sense.
    Or, send me a note:

Very nice, welcome... I think I saw that one. I wanted a black interior though...didn't care too much about miles... Good Score though...

If you are running full stage 1 MTM you are probably at 730bhp, unless you also have high flow cats, then 742bhp.You don't need any other tweaks and should run 0-100kmh in 3.8 secs and 1/4 mile in mid eleven seconds, similar to my phantom black C6 RS6 , same colour as yours.

ps this is a C5 RS6 TTV8 forum. You have a very nice car but you should also post on the UK C6 RS6 forums as unfortunately the C6 RS6 was never sold into the US. Audi really missed a very key market.

not really, as there is a majority of C5 RS6 forum users on here and a majority are US based, we do appreciate a C6 and for that matter ANY high performance vehicle, at least I do!
Audi DID miss the mark on the C6 RS6 by failing to import to the US market, especially the AVANT!

    Newbie

Hi all......New to the list and happy to find it! I just bought a mint 2004 RS6 Black on Black from its original owner. Production date is March 2004. He picked it up in May of that year. I think I will buy an extended warranty for it based on the comments I've seen at least a good powertrain one. Otherwise excited to enjoy it for the summer. What month did they stop producing these cars?

    Cheers......Ken

Newbie Alert !!! Just conclude the purchase of my very first RS6 2003 .. I will be picking it up next Tuesday April 10..... This one just fell into my lap.. if everything pans out, I will be driving it back to Montreal, to lay havoc on the Beamer crowd, too many snob M3 M5 owners running around my neck of the woods.

Now to calm down a bit, geez I am shaking like a leaf...

I don't have an active OnStar subscription. Does that matter? You think I should actually remove it!

If they wanted to track speed, they could do without a subscription - however the analog cell radio that was used in 2003 is no longer supported by onstar. You can buy an adapter to make it work with digital, and if paranoid could check if a previous ower did. If you don't ever want to use onstar, probably a good idea to disable it just in case

Personally, I'd be more concerned about the GPS in your cell phone...
