My "new" RS6. Avus/Black/Carbon, 24k, Breckenridge, Co
Today I spotted a RS6Plus Avant at an Audi Dealer here in Ingolstadt. There was no price information, but it had no licenseplate, so i guess it`s for sale. It was Nr. 541 black metallic and interior in brown leather... really great condition from what I was able to see...

Here is mine in Daytona Grey - just bought it from someone who needed cash and hardly drove it. 10,000 miles in excellent condition. Can't wait to get rid of my M5 when the lease is up in July. Not happy with the SMG at all.

oh nice, there are a few of us down here locally, I'm in Irvine (well, I'm usually in Irvine, out of town on business atm), and the local ones every once in a while get together for a little cruise and hang out. We're looking to put one together around the beginning of Feb., drop me a PM or email if you're interested!
Yes Indeed! He came down to $41K but we found a leaky shock during the inspection so we settled for $38.5K. However, one day after I picked up the car from the dealer....I found a puddle of oil in my garage and another leaky shock. Fortunately I bought the extended warranty and it was covered. The car was basically in the shop for a month and now I get to enjoy it afterall. What did you end up buying?
Wow, that is a story.
I was buying this as my 2nd RS6. My Avus/Bla only has 28k on it.
38.5.....what a deal! Was the car as clean as he said? Which extended warranty did you buy? If I remember, the car did not have an ext warranty. Mine has Fidelity for 6 more years and 70k additional miles.
2nd RS6 - Good to hear...you must like the car very much. Yes the car is very clean except all the wheels have some scratches. Not sure if you met him...he's in his 60s and a very nice fellow but I don't think he ever pushed the car hard. You're right - he didn't have the extended warranty. Pasadena Rusnak insisted on the 35K miles service before they would sell me the ext warranty. It's The Fidelity Audi warranty. So i got the 3-year 36K miles.
Ohhhh, we have to talk. Those crooks! PAudi!
Long story short. I have the official Audi maint sheets for the RS6. You do not have to perform the 35k until the car reaches 35k. Period. There is no time limit on the 35k timing belt service. Fact.
That said, PAudi didnt have to sell you the Fidelity policy. So, they just wanted the business and wanted the extra service business as well.
Why didnt you buy the 5-or 6yr Fidelity plan? At your mileage, it would only cost 3k max and you could get 72k policy???
If nothing else, it helps resale of the car 3 yrs down the road.
You can still change the policy to 5 or 6 years. Its not too late.
