Any pictures of this? I am interested to see how the modded intake looks. Maybe I could replicate it on my own.

I have the stock 18's, lightweight 18's are in the works. I did the same on my B6 s4, going from 30lb stock to 19lbs wheels made a huge difference.

I've considered that wheel, but have been afraid it is too weak of a wheel for or heavy cars. I would think any bump you hit with those and you need a new wheel.

I would think they are plenty strong. The SSRs I used to have were strong enough for track duty and OZ are every bit the quality (albeit more $$$).

I can't wait to get them on my RS6 mate.

The website shows that the SSRs (Comp C) 18x9 are 17lbs. Sweet stuff. Loved those wheels. Tremendous difference in all regards.

Haha! LOL, why I put "USED" to have em'. ENJOY!

BTW, although that website shows 17lbs, I weighed them before and thought they were closer to 18lbs... could be wrong? But either way, that is TEN lbs PER corner unsprung!

I'm pretty sure they're between 16 and 17lbs per rim, but I'll have an exact figure for everyone tomorrow after they arrive.

The OEM 18x8.5 wheels are actually 31lbs each. So I have a feeling I'm going to be saving 56-60lbs with your SSR Comps.

The best part about the SSRs is that they don't require spacers. Most of the other lightweight 18" wheels out there require spacers to clear the RS6's massive 365mm Brembos.

How much do those wheels run, aren't they around ~800 a piece?

They don't make the SSR Comps in our size anymore. Before they were discontinued, I believe they retailed for $489 a wheel at the Tire Rack if I remember correctly.

I'm hoping to be able to post a 10 second timeslip before year's end.

If you break 10 seconds you are nuts!

I know we are way off topic, but anyone know what offset and size in 18" the Ultraleggera fit our car?

Think you may consider the Texas Mile this Fall as well?

According to the Tire Rack, the 18" Ultraleggeras don't fit the RS6. Only the 19x8.5 wheels do.

As far as I can remember, the 18" Ultraleggeras only came in 18x8 with the 5-112 bolt pattern. The OEM RS6 wheels are 18x8.5, so you should really try to find aftermarket wheels that are at least as wide as stock. You'd really be stretching a 255 or 265 series tire on a 8" wide wheel. Probably not ideal.

I did a bunch of research on lightweight wheels for the RS6 and there's really not much out there, unless you want to downgrade to the 8" wide wheel. The Tire Rack does sell their own line of wheels called TR Motorsports. They're 18x8.5, 19lbs, and cost $300 a wheel. The only problem is they require wheel spacers. I hate wheel spacers, but that's just me.
