A5 Sedan. Would also make a great A4. Interesting of Audi having two very similar cars.

I'm going to make a bold/fearless prediction, there will be no B8 RS4 (like many reports) but there will be RS5 Sportback, basically making up for not having an RS4.

It is a four door Coupe (like CLK, Passat CC) after all, therefore not exactlay a sedan.

And at the end - it's pure mathematics: how much does it cost Audi to develop this variant of the B8 platform (my guess - not that much) and what is the potential market for it. I assume that it will be profitable with a small volume.

There are people out there, that look for such a car. Not me currently - i'm in the Avant stage of my life (2 kids) - but who knows in the further future

On the pics i see here i'm not really catching the coupé feel at all.
Also the name sportback for it wouldn't make much sense for me seeing the A3 sportback has a avant feel to it.

How would it leave the A7. I'm not really getting it.

The overall proportions are so similar to the Panamera it is uncanny. (With a 460 bhp V8 under the hood, it would probably go as fast as one too!) Whatever engine's are offered, this is going to be a great car. I'd much rather have a practical hatchback like this than the A4's boot or the Avant's large rear. If the photos are anything to go by, it looks remarkably production ready.

It seems to me that Audi just want to bring more models because they said that they will produce ... models in 2015 to be competitive with other brands...

The more models they produce the more the cars look the same :S:S, don' t like that actually...They HAVE to bring more models that differ in headlights/design etc. if you ask me....
