Sportquattro comming back???

in the tomorrow issue of the autobild there will be an article about a planned successor of the "sportquattro" named A5 quattro sport.

anyone heard about that???

So they are suggesting we're going to have a RS5 track/rally car? Should be Ur-Quattro successor, right? But any A5 could be considered that.

in the new "BILD" today there was an article about that car. and they said it will have a V6 biturbo with 425hp and weight under 1400kg. also it will be introduced in 2012 and price will be in the range of 70000 euros.

If it will have a V6 then it will be a 3.0TFSI Supercharger.

The front is bit much. Did they merge the R8 V12 TDI front with the A7 concept grille? I seriously doubt the House of Audi would design the front this way.

Build it Audi. The RS5 will go like warm snot but it will be heavy, anyone who can say they are true Audi fans wants a lightweight hooligan machine with the 2.5TFSI or Bi Turbo V6.

Concept car 2010 final production 2012 according to AutoBild: main fact: high end technologie, sporty look and economical - just like the ur-quattro

First plans said an introduction of the concept "Anniversario" on the 100 year party, but it was stop in last minutes due to an environemental an economical car....

I'm not sure about the overlap with the RS5

And the styling needs a bit more refinemet, but it is a CDI from AutoBild after all

There will be no overlap.
The RS5 will be a heavy Pig with V8.
The Quattro sport will at leased 200 Kg ligther with either a V6 supercharged or the new R5 TFSI engine.
It will wipe the floor with the RS5 every which way.
