tire choice for RS2 (urgent!)
I'm stuck between a few choises. I previously ran Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3, and they were great, very very happy with them.. also very good on the Nordschleife.
GSD3 are out of production and Eagle F1 Assymetrico has taken over.
I have now also looked at Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 and Pirelli PZero, but I don't know how these hold up on a track.
what do you recommend? It is in 225/40/18 and will be driven around 1500km on the ring this year.
Pirelli without thinking twice!!!
The street tire that I most liked on my ex RS2 was the Yokohama Advan Sport, by far!
I am sorry to give you another brand instead of picking one of your short list, but they were far superior to Continental, Pirellis and Toyos that I had on the RS2. I did not use any Goodyear or Michellins on the RS2.
2.0 turbo FWD - less than 200hp
2.0 NA - x- x- x- x- x- x - less than 150hp - - oh yes, I know
1.8 Turbo AWD - less than 250hp
2.7 Biturbo AWD - less than 620hp
