Engine porn, the Koenigsegg CC engine

Surfed around on the official Koenigsegg website and found these images of the Koenigsegg engine. This is what I call an engine.

I would not hessitate to have one of those engines in my living room as a sculpture.

Thanks for the pics, The only real thing that I find appealing...or pornography about that engine, is the carbon fibre.

First is the design of modern day formula one engines...although, with the coffee table idea, I don't think your the first.

The ones that do blow up/warn out, get stripped down, cleaned and put into a carbon fibre stand, with glass on the sides and top, with titanium holding the glass in place and are sold for around the £100,000 mark to the richer and more fortunate formula one fans. These are sold exclsuively and privately.

What would be the second best (just missed first by a tiny amount) engine to have as a coffee table, would be a modern day Lamborghini V12, with the firing sequence of the pistons on the front of it....Got to admire the Italians at Santa Agarta for that. :asian:

You were talking about F1 engines?

Here you can buy one also: http://www.ferrarishop.com/cgi-bin/F...oid=1610685041
    Only 20 000 €, it's not that quite expensive - but think that you get a hole F1 car from like 97 for 150 000 €.

(but what it actually costs to start up a F1 racer and drive it for 5 minutes is a totaly different disscusion)

    hahahaha...Very Smart Krabu...Thanks!

The engine sounds like a bargain, but it is afterall a 1997 engine, although it's still a stunner...As I forgot to mention that it's the latest version(s) that cost in the region of £100,000 with the Coffee table set up.

    Thanks again!
