    F430 successor

I'm very interested in your opinions about this car. So, please, comment! Witch of these two possibilities is more likely, and when you think this car will be presented?

    Andy,

The F142 will really need to move the game along from where the F430 currently is.

At the moment the L540 is a far superior package.

It will need to be more powerful and it will certainly need the DSG. The SMG is a dinosaur, except in the Scuderia.

Thanks for keeping us up to date. Or me at least if I am the only one to reply to your thread!

    Cheers,

    Dave

from what i know it will indeed be lighter than the F430 while perhaps making significantly more power.

3100 lbs and 550 hp from a light, TT, 4.0 V8 redlining at 10K might do the trick. with a DSG it would post numbers similar to the enzo's. price it at 220K and you've got it.
    Past- A4, TT, S4

    Present- R8 V10

yes and thats exactly the F430 Scuderia ^^ ...lighter, more power, enzo time(fiorano)....

And i also dont think that ferrari ever (or at least the next 5-10 years) will use turbo chargers....

not so sure about the turbo prediction. I remember reading somewhere that Ferrari was toying with the idea of turbos for the Enzo replacement.

Well..., preasure is building on the Ferrari too. There isn't much alternative for turbo engines in the future.

991/911 turbo is at least for years away...

Am I wrong if I say that this future F450/470 is going to be little bit ''softer'' than F430...?
