An aftermarket pulley will drop that 0-100 time in2 the mid 4’s.

its true, this is from the new AMS !

on autozeitung they compared these two too. and the S4 won. no suprise.

from 0-200 the S4 was also above 1 second faster than the 335i in the autozeitung test.

rumors are the 2010 335 will get a power boost too, you guessed it, 335 hp. with more torque- probably more than the S4's. we'll see.

Which is how much it is already making. Looks like they are just going to give it a proper rating.

It looks like US magazines could possibly get a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds. Maybe Audi is doing what BMW did with the 335i, and its making more than 333?

as in GTR too huh?

though i do think that, in comparison to the GTR, the 335 engine could get a bit more real boost.

if all this is true, the '10 S5 will be sick.... and so- if they can in fact make the updates RS4 engine ~450 hp all aluminium and therefore that much lighter it will rock...

Just to add that S4(manual with Sport Diff, Dynamic steering and Active dampers) was also tested by German Sport Auto and it did Hockenheim in 1:16,7min... That is pretty good time actually-faster then current S5(1:17,2min) but, slower then TTS Coupe(1:16,1min) for example.

Current Hockenheim star is FL Cayman S which achieved 1:13,9min equpied with PDK, 19", LSD, PASM and SC Plus.

For comparison:

997.2 Carrera 4S 1:13,9min(SPAMS, PCCB, PDK and SC Plus)
997.2 Carrera S 1:13,4min(SPASM, PCCB, PDK and SC Plus)
R8 1:13,4min(Magnetic Ride)

All cars on normal street tires(not Corsas or Cups).

They will not compare those car mainly because BMW cannot put the xdrive and the sport suspension to the car at the same time, I think. You have to choose either one but not both at the same time.
Good thing for Audi as many 335 buyer have bought Audi as they have no problem combining quattro with sport suspension.

I knew it would be quicker than the 335i, just didn't expect the gap to be this big.
