I came upon this article about the new S4 on motivemag.com, and was just wondering...what is this circle to the right of the left fog lamp?

I have noticed this on many new A4 and A5 myself.... could it be the radar guided cruise control, or lane change warning system?
Yes, it is for the cruise control.

Geniuses with the ability to become anyone they want to be.....
if you're talking of the bigger circle on the passenger side, that's the anchor for the towing.
If you're talking about the smaller circle on the driver's side then I don't know.
Just a note for clarity. I try not to use left and right (we never know if it's facing the car or sitting in the car!? )
I was thinking about the bigger circle on the passengers side, as it can be seen on the first pic
it is linked with the adaptive cruise control option. i agree it looks so ugly that no way i would take it. simple cruise control is fine with me.
Yep, it is the active cruise control. However It could also be the night vision camera but I am not sure that S4 has this option available. It looks the same on BMW.
