Stormy weather here....a tree fell on the Q7! (pics)

During the weekend, whith hurricane strength gusts, a large birch tree fell down, root up, and hit the Q7 on in the rear roof area.
Amazingly the damage looks to be mostly cosmetic, but there are some BIG dents in the roof, roofline, rear quarter and the back window is gone. the car is completely covered form every angle possible with insurrance, so it should work out ok. The excess is 450 euros. The car is beeing damage estimated at the dealers today.

well...we won't know if it only cosmetic before the dealer is done estimating damage...if the frame has gotten a blow....then....it will probably be condemned.

of course....the old Toyota Starlet parket next to the Q7 was fine because the Q7 is so tall.

    didn't have my dslr

Yeah man, I plead guilty....won't trash this topic too much with the Bavarian longdistance diesel, but it's a damn fine car for what I bought it, engine is superb in it's class IMO.

But we're on the verge of acquiring an urquattro so I'll make up for it

Can't agree more with you though, that diesel is something special. Happy to hear that you're satisfied with it...

And with the Quattro comming, all is well in Audi-camp!

    Sorry for off-topic!
